Product Description
A premium oil designed for those who demand the absolute best lubrication for their motorcycles. It is the result of extensive research and is specially formulated to excel in all areas unique to motorcycles, including the high temperatures of air-cooled engines, wet-clutch lubrication, extreme-pressure regions of gears and chains and rust protection. AMSOIL 20W-40 Synthetic V-Twin Motorcycle Oil is multi-functional and engineered for Victory® and model-year 2013 and newer Indian® motorcycles.

Reduces Friction, Heat and Wear
AMSOIL 20W-40 Synthetic V-Twin Motorcycle Oil is engineered to protect critical components in high-heat conditions. It exceeds the standard for high-temperature film strength to deliver excellent wear protection (see graph) and contains a heavy treatment of anti-wear additives to reduce wear regardless of operating conditions. AMSOIL 20W-40 is thermally (heat) stable and contains maximum levels of oxidation-inhibitor additives. It is extremely resistant to breakdown and is engineered to prevent damaging sludge and carbon deposits for superior engine cleanliness.

Provides Anti-Wear Protection for Gears and Chains
AMSOIL 20W-40 Synthetic V-Twin Motorcycle Oil is shear stable and resists thinning from mechanical activity. It performs like a gear lube without the negative effects of extreme-pressure additives, such as poor wet-clutch performance.

Delivers Superior Rust Protection
Motorcycles are prone to rust from storage, humidity and short drives. Rust can cause major damage, such as uncontrolled wear, compression loss and blow-by. Good rust protection, however, comes by design and is not natural to motor oils. Unlike many motorcycle oils, AMSOIL 20W-40 Synthetic V-Twin Motorcycle Oil contains special ant-irust agents, providing outstanding protection against rust and corrosion.

Catalytic-Converter Compatible
AMSOIL 20W-40 Synthetic V-Twin Motorcycle Oil meets the requirements for emission-system protection and is designed for use in motorcycles with catalytic converters.

Provides Excellent Wet-Clutch Performance
AMSOIL 20W-40 Synthetic V-Twin Motorcycle Oil delivers the confidence of quiet, smooth shifting and positive clutch engagement. It controls heat and helps prevent slippage and glazing, while its high TBN helps improve clutch life by resisting the acids that can degrade clutch material.

COMPATIBILITY
AMSOIL 20W-40 Synthetic V-Twin Motorcycle Oil is compatible with other conventional and synthetic motor oils; however, mixing oils may shorten the oil's life expectancy and reduce its performance benefits. AMSOIL does not support extended drain intervals where oils have been mixed. Aftermarket oil additives are not recommended for use with AMSOIL Synthetic V-Twin Motorcycle Oil.

SERVICE LIFE
For on-road use in engines and transmissions:
AMSOIL 20W-40 Synthetic V-Twin Motorcycle Oil and AMSOIL Ea® Motorcycle Oil Filters are capable of providing premium protection for up to 2X the motorcycle manufacturer-recommended change interval or one year, whichever comes first. Change other brand oil filters at standard intervals.

For off-road use in engines and transmissions:
Change AMSOIL 20W-40 Synthetic V-Twin Motorcycle Oil at the standard motorcycle manufacturer-recommended change interval.

For racing or modified engines:
No change interval recommendation is made; oil changes are at the owner's discretion.

This product is not expected to cause health concerns when used for the intended application and according to the recommendations in the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).

Amsoil is the best!

I bought the 20W40 for use in my Victory Cross Country. The top end is noticibly quieter. The oil change is good for a year, or 10,000 miles. I'm happy!

Outstanding

Was a dealer for many, many years and have used Amsoil in every truck, sports car and motorcycle over the years. It gives me peace of mind with the full syn protection and meets the odd specifications required by Indian Motorcycle for their new TS-111 motor...whereas most others use 10w40 or 20w50. Indian also uses a syn blend which to me means it is really a oil like Castrol...great oil but not giving you full advantage of synthetic protection as the weakest link is the regular oil without the modified cell structure. I run the Indian filter but will change to a WIX filter in future but I have full confidence in Amsoil oils in cars and especially my bikes. All of my Indians also had/have a wet clutch system and Amsoil does not add friction modifiers so they are safe with wet clutch setups...and I do some hard riding and never a problem. Great product....full confidence even now when I am no longer a dealer...just a customer. :)

Can't beat it!

I have a 2012 Victory Cross Roads I bought new now with 76k miles. Started out using 10W40 and switched to 20W40 when it came out and always with the Amsoil filter. I run between 8 & 10k between oil changes. It uses zero oil between changes and still sounds and runs new. My last bike was a 2003 Suzuki Intruder 1500. I traded it in on my current bike with 113k miles on it and it had the same oil change treatment. Still sounded and ran like new when I traded it. Either engine or clutch had ever been touched. Yeah, Amsoil is all I use. And with extended oil changes it also save me money. How can you beat that!

Heat

Had used the Amsoil 15w-40 motorcycle oil before. Switched to another brand of oil, but it was a lighter weight of oil. Then I seen Amsoil came out with the 20w-40 motorcycle oil. Victory recommends the 20w-40. With the extreme conditions (heat) here in AZ. I figured it should be better to run what weight the manufacturer recommended. Been happy with the Amsoil in the bike.

20W-40 Synthetic Motorcycle Oil

This stuff is so good, Was on trip with my brother thru CA AZ To Utah on my Indian Air Cooled .The Temp was anywhere between 107-118. Never had a heating problem and never had to add oil. This oil is the best hands down.

Only MC oil to use!

Amsoil MC oil is the only oil I can completely trust to protect my Indian motorcycle while it's running but to protect it from rust while it sits during the winter months.

Will only use Amsoil in my motorcycle.

I have used Amsoil in my motorcycles since 2012, and have experienced smoother, quieter idling engine, smoother shifting and better gas mileage. I currently own a 2017 Indian Roadmaster, and have not been disappointed with Amsoil products as I'm getting the same results in the Indian, plus it seems to run cooler. Best v-twin oil available!

I cannot express how well this oil performs. It provides smooth shifting and has actually quieted my tranny down considerably. There is also zero burnoff. Love this oil.

Best Bike oil period....

I have a Victory Cross Country Tour. Ams oil is the only oil that gives me quiet starts and consistent clutch feel. Its been the only oil that has allowed me to go 5000 miles between changes.
You can really tell the difference with Ams Oil....
